Dr Florian Weigand is the Co-Director of the Centre on Armed Groups, a Senior Researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS) and a Research Associate at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the Geneva Graduate Institute. His research focuses on political violence, smuggling, governance, international interventions and peacebuilding.
